Meadows-dilella, Amelia "Mia"

ALBANY — Amelia "Mia" Meadows-dilella, 62, entered eternal life on May 1, 2022, after a long illness.

She was born in Albany on October 27, 1959, to Isabelle Meadows-barker and the late Alphonso H. Meadows Sr. Mia is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Anthony Dilella; deeply cherished children, Samia Mccall (Anthony), Sanfort Tanksley (La Teya), Anthony Jr., and Nina Dilella; precious grandchildren, Miala, Keahvea, Ahmeer, Teyn, Marnay, Sanel, Anthony Jr., Marila, Lareina, Ledel, and Amelia "Millie"; adored mother, Isabelle Barker; loving sisters, Carolyn Swinson and Maxine Meadows-shuford (Hank); protective brothers, Alphonso H. Meadows Jr., (Vivian) and Jeffrey Meadows Sr. (Vinita); her life-long special friend, Elaine Alston-burden, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 7, at 12 p.m. in the Walls Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, 27 Delaware St., Albany.
