Morawski, Rose MAPLEWOOD

— Rose Morawski, 98 of Maplewood, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 8, 2022.

Born on March 8, 1924, in Troy, Rose was the daughter of the late Adam and Marcella (Wiczerock) Kocienski. She was married to Edward Morawski on July 2, 1944, and the two shared a devoted union of 39 years prior to his passing in 1983.

Rose worked as a housekeeper at Bellevue Woman’s Center in Niskayuna for 36 years, retiring in 2008. She was a prior parishioner of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Schenectady. She enjoyed gardening, cleaning, spending time with her family and especially her cats. She will be forever missed and eternally cherished by all who knew and loved her.

Rose is survived by her beloved children, Edward P. (Anita) Morawski and Daniel (Chantal) Morawski; grandson, Robert J. (Mary); as well as her great-grandchildren, Robert J. Jr. and Kristen M. Morawski. She is also survived by her brother, Joseph (Margaret) Kocienski; many nieces and nephews; and her friends,
