SCHODACK — Patricia Mccarthy, 80 of Schodack, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at her home.

Patricia was born in Albany, the daughter of the late Peter and Helen Lasher Popp. Patricia retired after 25 years as a hospital claims representative for Blue Shield of Northern New York.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathleen (Glen) Eggelhoefer; longtime companion, John Edwards; two grandchildren, Glen (Sarah) Eggelhoefer and Amanda Cereo; and four greatgrandchildren, Carter, Ava, Blake, and Owen. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles T. Mccarthy Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Saturday at 9 a.m. in the Church of the Holy Spirit, 667 Columbia Tpke., East Greenbush. Burial will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Patricia’s name to the American Cancer Society.
