Lippert, Helene Cecelia

ALBANY — Helene Cecelia Lippert was born on August 10, 1929, in Albany; she passed into eternal life on Sunday, May 8, 2022.

Helene attended Albany Public Schools, graduated from the Vincentian Institute, and received her B.S. degree from The College of Saint Rose. She was a social worker for Catholic Charities of Albany.

Helene was predeceased by her parents, Helen Veronica Mcginnis and John Jacob Lippert; and her sister, Eileen Mary Lippert. She is survived by her cousins, William L. Lyman, Jean Ryan Michaniw, and James Ryan. She was predeceased by her cousins, Joan I. Greenwood, Judith A. Greenwood, Edward L. Lyman, Joseph P. Lyman, and Virginia Greenwood Schonerman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 13, at 10 a.m. in the Shrine Church of Our Lady of the Americas, 279 Central Ave., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the church on Friday after 9 a.m. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery.
