Man held in stabbing death
One man is dead and another man was wounded in a stabbing Sunday.
Police said Johnny Williams, 25, of Troy, died after being stabbed near Third and State streets early Sunday evening.

Dewolf said police found two stabbing victims. Both men were brought to the hospital where Williams died. The second man is recovering, Dewolf said.
Shortly after the stabbing, police arrested Bryan K. Wright. Wright, whose address was listed as the Rescue Mission in Albany, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and felony assult. Police did not offer additional detail on what led to the stabbing. More charges are expected.
Wright previously served seven years in state prison for an assault conviction related to a 2013 stabbing.
The killing is Troy’s fifth homicide of the year.
