ALBANY — Grace "Barb" Trifiletti passed away peacefully at her home on May 12, 2022, surrounded by her family.

She was born and raised in Albany. Barb was like a mother to many people and kept in touch with friends she met in her journey throughout life. She was an avid collector of many different things that she enjoyed most recently, and her favorite were snowmen. She also loved doing different things with friends and family, such as Bingo, going to the casino, poker night, going out to dinner or to a good cookout. She loved classic country music, especially especially George Jones and Mel Tillis, as well as her favorite, her husband, Arizona Lou, who would often play the guitar and sing to her.

Grace was predecease­d by her mother, Mary "Mim" Daniels; her father, Lawrence Daniels; and her brothers Gary and George Daniels. She is survived by her husband, Louis Trifiletti; sister, Doreen Lajoy; brother, Lawrence "Buck" Daniels; and her kids, Jeffrey Trifiletti, Michael Trifiletti Sr., and Marilou Trifiletti. She is also survived by five grandkids, Victoria, Jonathan, Julia, Luke, and Michael Jr.; her two daughtersi­n-law, April Cranker and Britney Nelson along with various nieces and nephews.

Barb will be remembered by all who knew her for her kindness and empathy towards people and animals alike. "Cream, no sugar."

A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, May 18, from 2-3 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. A funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
