The CDPHP health insurance group is promoting Dr. Elizabeth Warner to executive vice president and chief medical officer.

Warner joined CDPHP in January 2015 as a medical director. She was promoted to vice president and senior medical director in 2018, and to senior vice president of member health in 2020. “This is a historic moment for CDPHP, as we celebrate Dr. Warner as the health plan’s first female chief medical officer in our nearly 40 years of serving our great community,” said John D. Bennett, MD, president and CEO of CDPHP. “Dr. Warner has established herself as a go-to resource within CDPHP and a true leader among her peers. She has unequivocally earned the most prominent clinical role within our organization.”

Prior to joining CDPHP, Warner practiced general surgery at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center with a special focus on breast surgery.
