Nonprofits get grants
Ten nonprofits in the Capital Region will be awarded an aggregate total of $100,000 in grants from the CAP COM Cares Foundation.
The awards were given to organizations hatching infrastructure improvement projects such as security upgrades, new roofs or technology upgrades, and each winner is slated to receive $10,000 to put toward their projects.
The grant winners for the 2022 round were: AIM Services Inc., Bluelight Development Group, Eden’s Rose Foundation, Foster Can Inc., Literacy Volunteers of Rensselaer County, SAFE Inc. of Schenectady, Senior Citizens Center of Saratoga Springs, St. Catherine’s Center for Children, To Life! and the Women’s Employment Resource Center.
