Nonprofits get grants

Ten nonprofits in the Capital Region will be awarded an aggregate total of $100,000 in grants from the CAP COM Cares Foundation.

The awards were given to organizati­ons hatching infrastruc­ture improvemen­t projects such as security upgrades, new roofs or technology upgrades, and each winner is slated to receive $10,000 to put toward their projects.

The grant winners for the 2022 round were: AIM Services Inc., Bluelight Developmen­t Group, Eden’s Rose Foundation, Foster Can Inc., Literacy Volunteers of Rensselaer County, SAFE Inc. of Schenectad­y, Senior Citizens Center of Saratoga Springs, St. Catherine’s Center for Children, To Life! and the Women’s Employment Resource Center.
