Curtain Call announces 2022-23 season

Tickets available for 7 shows, several different genres

The next season at Curtain Call Theatre will feature seven production­s from this coming fall through August 2023, with comedy predominat­ing among romance, drama and inspiratio­nal stories.

Tickets are now on sale for the season, the sixth since Curtain Call relocated in fall 2017 to a former church adjacent to Ashfield Senior Apartments in Latham. Subscripti­ons cost $150 for all shows and $75 for four production­s; single tickets cost $30 each. Performanc­es are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday, with one Saturday matinee on the second weekend of each run. The schedule:

A “Tiny Houses” by Chelsea Marcantel, Sept. 15 to

Oct. 9. A comedy with lovable, idiosyncra­tic characters dealing with adapting to a very small abode.

A “All the Days” by Sharyn Rothstein, Nov. 3 to 27. A heartfelt comedy about the scars of childhood and finding love as a grown-up.

A “Misery” by William Goldman, Jan. 12 to 29. An adaptation of Stephen

King’s thriller about a famous novelist held hostage by a fan.

A “Fireflies” by Matthew Barber, March 2 to 19. A love story about romance late in life, adapted from the novel “Eleanor and Abel” by Annette Sanford. A “Incident at Our Lady of Perpetual Help” by Katie Forgette, April 13 to May 7, 2023. A comedy about an Irish-catholic family coping with disasters in 1973.

A “Grand Horizons” by Bess Wohl, June 1 to 25, 2023. A comedy about martial malaise that looks at the unpredicta­ble and enduring nature of love.

A “Popcorn Falls” by James Hindman, July 20 to Aug. 13, 2023. A town facing bankruptcy tries to save itself by opening a theater.
