Gunderson, Robert R.

SELKIRK — Robert R. Gunderson, 92, passed away on May 13, 2022, at home.

Robert was a 23-year Navy and Air Force veteran serving during the Korean and Vietnam wars. After retiring from the military, Robert obtained a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from The University of Southern Mississippi; he then worked at the Watervliet Arsenal for 10 years. Robert enjoyed reading and playing chess. He was a member of the Senior Projects of Ravena.

Survivors include his children, Karen (Brian) O’shaughnessy, Adrian (Ellen) Gunderson and Jon Gunderson; five grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren.

All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
