Blink-182’s Hoppus celebrates his health
Mark Hoppus is thankful for all the small things.
The Blink-182 bassist, who announced in September that he was in remission from stage 4 diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, is blessed to be in Italy with his wife to celebrate the wedding of bandmate Travis Barker to Kourtney Kardashian, he said Saturday.
“A year ago I was in chemotherapy,” he wrote in an Instagram story. “Today I’m here. Grateful.”
Along with the inspirational message was a photo of the happy couple, Hoppus, 50, in a black polo shirt and slacks and wife Skye, 49, in a green suit and black crop top.
The Grammy-nominated musician announced his diagnosis in June, revealing that he had spent the past three months in chemotherapy.
In September, he announced that he was cancer-free after getting the all-clear from his oncologist.
