RODGER’S QUICK TAKE

After watching the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes, Mechanicville trainer Chad Brown sets himself up for the Travers Stakes at Saratoga Race Course in August. Preakness winner Early Voting and Zandon, who ran third in the Derby, are both being pointed to the Mid-summer Derby, and both are in the midst of outstanding three-year-old campaigns.
