Alive at Five lineup announced
Albany prepares for popular Thursday night concert series
This year’s Alive at Five concerts will feature hip-hop star Talib Kweli, rock guitarist and former Runaway Lita Ford, and reggae act Ballyhoo.
Mayor Kathy Sheehan and organizations involved with the long-running concert series in the Corning Preserve announced the roster of shows Tuesday morning.
The shows are a staple of free entertainment in the Capital Region, regularly drawing thousands of people for Thursday night shows at the preserve’s band-shell stage
The concert series kicks off June 9 with State Champs, who hail from East Greenbush.
Young Culture is the opening act.
