ALTAMONT — Michael Kent, 65, departed for his next journey on May 22, 2022, after a strong battle with cancer.

Born in Albany to Evelyn Ridner Kent and William Kent, Michael grew up rabble-rousing in the Bleeker Stadium neighborhood with his extended family and friends. After attending Albany High School, he joined the Iron Workers Local 12, fearlessly connecting iron at great heights before his retirement.
