“Art with Heart & Hope.” Saratoga-based nonprofit, Beyond My Battle, is holding its fourth annual exhibition in September showcasing the ways art can help manage the stressors of living as a patient or caregiver. Artists must have lived with, or cared for someone living with, a physical illness, disease, or disability; be at least 18; and live in the Capital Region. Work needs to be able to be displayed on a wall or easel. Submit information and work at beyondmybattle.org/art-show-2022 by July 1. Artificial Eye: 44th Annual Photo Regional. The Arts Center of the Capital Region is inviting photographers to submit work for Artificial Eye, the 44th Annual Photo Regional. Artists are requested to submit imagery produced through relationships with street photography. The submission fee for The Arts Center of the Capital Region (ACCR) members is $30, and $40 for NON-ACCR members. Visit artscenterofthecapitalregion. submittable.com to submit. Deadline June 1. Capture: A City Wide Photography Exhibition. The Arts Center invites visitors to come to Troy and take a snapshot of themselves in public art locations around Troy. The Arts Center will print the images that are captured weekly and place them on our Gallery walls in an exhibition called “Capture”. Participants are encouraged to title share their images with the Arts Center or tag us on Instagram @capregionartscenter or Facebook @Theartscenterofthecapitalregion with the hashtag #Capturetroy.miages can be emailed to info@arts centeronline.org. Capture will be presented in the Arts Center’s Wallace Gallery, June 24-Aug. 20. A community reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. July 29.
