Davidson’s mix-up ‘sweet’

- — The Atlanta Journal-constitution

Kim Kardashian revealed that Pete Davidson has been calling her nephew the wrong name, Perez Hilton reported.

The former “Saturday Night Live” star thought Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s youngest son, Reign Disick, was actually named “Raymond.”

Kardashian said that Davidson thought it was Raymond because that’s what “Disick calls him all the time.”

People Magazine reported that Disick has nicknames for all of his children; he’s known to call daughter Penelope, 9, “Poosh” or “Peesh,” and son Mason, 12, “Marty.”

Despite the mix-up, the Kardashian family had nothing but kind words about Davidson, calling him “sweet” and a good person for the SKIMS founder.

During a recent episode of “The Kardashians,” Disick said Davidson “picked us up from the airport the other day. Had the coffee she wanted, had the coffee for me. I didn’t want to tell him it was completely the wrong one. He’s just a great person. You can tell he cares about people’s feelings.”

Disick is not the only one in the family to adore Davidson; the rest of the Kardashian sisters feel the same and he sent flowers to Kris Jenner for Mother’s Day.

Walmart, Lambert join for decor line

Walmart and threetime Grammy winner Miranda Lambert are teaming up for a new home decor product line, Wanda June Home by Miranda Lambert.

According to the superstore, the home decor collaboration is inspired by warm and sassy Southern hospitality — featuring items to help craft a comfortable and casual living space. According to the country music icon, it’s a designer line three generations in the making.

“Wanda June Home is named after the two most influential women in my life, my mom Beverly June Lambert and my grandma Wanda Louise Coker, aka Nonny,” Lambert told Walmart. “They both taught me everything I know about being a woman and how to make a warm home full of laughter, love and memories. That’s really the heart of my Wanda June Home brand. The products are a physical representation of a long line of beautiful memories with amazing women. I am thrilled to launch Wanda June Home with Walmart, where my grandpa was a greeter back in the day and where I’ve shopped all my life.”

The decor line went live last week with more than 80 kitchen, bar, tabletop and home decor items. Pricing starts at $12.97 and reaches as high as $170, with most of the pieces priced around $30.

Miranda Lambert first gained national attention in 2003 as a contestant for “Nashville Star,” a reality television singing competition.

She most recently released her eighth studio album “Palomino,” which proceeds her Grammy Award winning 2019 record “Wildcard.” The Texas native’s new Walmart home decor line can be found here.

Jenner backs transgender ban

Former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner voiced her support for the international swimming federation’s decision that transgender athletes cannot compete in women’s events if they didn’t transition before 12 years old.

Jenner, who is transgender, has been outspoken in her belief that it’s not fair for transgender women to take part in competitive women’s sports.

“It worked!” Jenner tweeted Sunday after the federation’s ruling came down. “I took a lot of heat — but what’s fair is fair! If you go through male puberty you should not be able to take medals away from females. Period.”

The swimming governing body, FINA, announced its new “gender inclusion policy” on Sunday following a 71.5 percent vote.

The decision comes about three months after Lia Thomas, a swimmer for the University of Pennsylvania, became the first transgender woman to win a NCAA Division I in any sport.

Thomas, who was part of the university’s men’s team before transitioning, started swimming for Penn’s women’s team during the 2021-22 season. She underwent hormone therapy before joining the women’s team.

“We have to protect the rights of our athletes to compete, but we also have to protect competitive fairness at our events, especially the women’s category at FINA competitions,” said FINA President Husain Almusallam.

Jenner, 72, won a gold medal in the men’s decathlon at the 1976 Olympic Games. She came out as a transgender woman in 2015.

FINA’S ruling also received support from former Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies.
