Celtics’ Gallinari suffers torn ACL
BOSTON — New Celtics forward Danilo Gallinari suffered a torn ACL in his left knee, which will likely cause him to miss most of the 202223 season and possibly all of it.
The 34-year-old Gallinari injured his knee while playing for the Italian national team Saturday during a FIBA World Cup qualifying game against Georgia.
Bueckers won’t leave Uconn
STORRS, Conn. — Paige Bueckers intends to play basketball in the 202324 season for Connecticut after recovering from an ACL injury that’s sidelined her this season.
Bueckers was adamant saying she’ll not enter the 2023 WNBA draft.

GENEVA — Paris Saint- Germain must pay $10 million for breaking UEFA financial rules, with seven other clubs also punished for overspending since 2018. Roma must pay $5 million, Inter Milan $4 million, Juventus $3.5 million and AC Milan $2 million.
