Across its linear networks (NBC and USA Network) and streaming service (Peacock), NBC Sports will offer more than 80 hours of the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship in 2023. That coverage kicks off with this weekend’s 61st Rolex Daytona 24 daylong endurance race from Daytona International Speedway. NBC offers an hour of live coverage this afternoon, and USA presents two live hours this evening, with Peacock streaming flag-to-flag live coverage.
NBA Basketball ABC, Beginning at 3 p.m. Live
A tripleheader of NBA action on ABC has the Denver Nuggets at the Philadelphia 76ers, the N.Y. Knicks at the Brooklyn Nets and the L.A. Lakers at the Boston Celtics.
Frozen Planet II BBC America, 8 p.m.

This six-part series, narrated by Sir David Attenborough, explores the wildlife found in the world’s coldest regions: the Arctic and Antarctic, high mountains, frozen deserts, snowbound forests and ice-cold oceans. The premiere episode, “Frozen Worlds,” examines how polar bears, penguins, snow monkeys, Siberian tigers and other species must overcome a unique set of challenges to endure the extreme environment.
Love in Glacier National: A National Park Romance
Hallmark Channel, 8 p.m. ■ Original Film Sparks fly when an avalanche forecaster (Ashley Newbrough) brings new technology to Glacier National Park and faces pushback from the director of Mountain Rescue (Stephen Huszar).
Hoax:
The Kidnapping of Sherri Papini Lifetime, 8 p.m. ■ Original Film
Jaime King stars as Sherri Papini, a young mother of two who disappeared while jogging near her home, leading to national headlines as concerned citizens searched for her whereabouts. When she reappeared three weeks later on Thanksgiving Day, Sherri claimed she was abducted by two Hispanic women who chained and repeatedly abused her. While Sherri’s return was celebrated, the state never stopped searching for her kidnappers. Four years later, Sherri’s world came crashing down as evidence revealed her kidnapping was all a hoax perpetrated by Sherri herself to spend time with her ex-boyfriend. Sherri was arrested and ultimately sentenced to 18 months in prison for lying to federal agents, creating hysteria in the community and wasting police time and funding with her nearly successful, elaborate scheme. Matt Hamilton (Girl in Room 13) stars as Sherri’s devoted husband, Keith.
