▪ Chelsea Lemon, former legislative director to state Sen. Jim Gaughran, has joined The Business Council of New York State as director of government affairs.
▪ Kelsey Trudell is the new executive director at Sustainable Saratoga. She is a South Glens Falls native who returned to the area after spending several years in Phoenix, Ariz., where she worked for the Arizona Sustainability Alliance, an organization with similarities to Sustainable Saratoga.
▪ Barclay Damon announced that Kristen Abele, Paige Beyer and Rex Mckeon have been admitted to the New York State Bar. The former law clerks are now associates at the firm.
▪ Brown Brothers Automotive, a sales and repair shop in Hudson Falls, announced it has hired Dan Lanoir as a sales associate. Lanoir has 35 years of experience in the automotive industry.
▪ Roy Richardson Jr. of Brunswick has been promoted to associate and shareholder of Barton & Loguidice. He is a member of the firm’s water resources practice area in the Albany office.
▪ Amanda Fitzgerald was elected president of the Oneonta-based Springbrook Foundation board. In December, Bonnie Martin was elected as a member of the board. Springbrook provides at-home care and other services to more than 1,100 people with developmental disabilities across New York.
