BOYS’ BASKETBALL RANKINGS

This is the final weekend of the regular season with the seeding meeting set for Wednesday and playoff games coming next week.

There are top teams set to collide as Albany Academy hosts Catholic Central (Friday), Tamarac takes on Hoosic Valley (Saturday) and Amsterdam clashes with Hudson Falls (Sunday).

CLASS AA

1. Ballston Spa (17-1, Last Week No. 2):

Blaine Zoller tallied 18 points and Nick Verdile added 16 points as the Scotties defeated Niskayuna 63-53.

▪ 2. Mekeel Christian Academy (13-3, LW No. 1): The Lions play at Colonie Monday and host Chatham Tuesday.

▪ 3. Bethlehem (13-5, LW No. 3): Kieran Barnes scored 20 as the Eagles recorded their 11th straight victory with a 59-55 decision over Shenendeho­wa.

▪ 4. Saratoga Springs (13-4, LW No. 5): Andrew Stallmer finished with 16 points and Hutton Synder contribute­d 15 points as the Blue Streaks edged Burnt Hills-ballston Lake 62-59.

The Eagles look to lock up a fourth-straight win Saturday with a contest at Poughkeeps­ie.

Teams to watch: Colonie (11-7), Schenectad­y (12-7), Shaker (12-6)

5. Green Tech (9-7, LW Not rated): CLASS A

▪ 1. Albany Academy (12-5, LW No. 1): The Cadets, ranked No. 10 in the state, are set to entertain Catholic Central Friday night.

▪ 2. Amsterdam (17-1, LW No. 2): Ceasar Thompson and CJ Miller each produced 16 points as the Rams beat Broadalbin­perth 71-54.

▪ 3. Hudson Falls (16-3, LW No. 3): The Tigers are set to meet Amsterdam Sunday at the Washington Avenue Armory in the Foothills Council Showdown.

▪ 4. Lansingbur­gh (14-4, LW

No. 4): The Knights placed four players in double figures, led by 15 points from James Oliver, in a 65-59 loss against Catholic Central.

▪ 5. Troy (9-7, LW No. 5): The Flying Horses look to snap a two-game losing streak Friday against Bethlehem.

Team to watch: Burnt Hills-ballston Lake (8-10)

CLASS B

1. CCHS (18-0, LW No. 1):

Se’mir Roberson pumped in 23 points as the Crusaders, ranked No. 2 in the state, posted a 65-59 win over Lansingbur­gh.

▪ 2. Tamarac (15-2, LW No. 2): The Bengals built a 49-2 halftime cushion and went on to produce a 95-20 decision over Cambridge.

▪ 3. Glens Falls (15-4, LW No. 3): Oscar Lilac delivered 18 points, Kellen Driscoll scored 16 points and Cooper Nadler added 15 points to lead the Indians to a 63-40 win against Hudson Falls.

▪ 4. Fonda (17-2, LW No. 5): Riley Wilson and Jackson Cusack scored 19 and 18 points, respective­ly, to lead the Braves past Bishop Gibbons 58-38.

▪ 5. Ichabod Crane (10-9, LW No. 4): The Riders dropped their sixth straight game (and fourth by three points or less) in a 56-53 loss against La Salle.

CLASS C

▪ 1. Duanesburg (19-0, LW

No. 2): Jeffrey Mulhern pumped in 23 points to help the Eagles score a 74-48 win against Berne-knox-westerlo, their third victory this season over the Bulldogs, and advanced to the Western Athletic Conference Cup final vs. Fonda.

▪ 2. Hoosic Valley (17-2, LW No. 1): Isaiah Eckler delivered a game-high 29 points to help the Indians produce a 78-22 victory over Berlin/new Lebanon.

▪ 3. Stillwater (15-4, LW No. 3): Jaxon Mueller scored 22 points and Lukas Lilac tallied 19 points, powering the Warriors to a 60-50 decision over Hoosick Falls.

▪ 4. Chatham (15-2, LW No. 4): Matt Thorsen netted 19 points and Tate Van Alstyne contribute­d 15 points as the Panthers beat Coxsackie-athens 57-37.

▪ 5. Voorheesvi­lle (8-10, LW No. 5): The Blackbirds host Ichabod Crane Friday evening in Colonial Council play.

Teams to watch: Greenwich (12-7), Granville (15-3), Hoosick Falls (10-9), Saratoga Central Catholic (11-8).

CLASS D

1. North Warren (14-4, LW No. 1):

Semaj Cuyler topped all scorers with 25 points as the Cougars knocked off Argyle 75-60.

Jacob Frank led the way with 24 points as the Falcons posted a 65-43 win against Schoharie.

▪ 3. Argyle (11-8, LW No. 3): Up next for the Scots is an Adirondack League contest Friday against Hadley-luzerne. ▪ 4. Loudonvill­e Christian (8-7, LW No. 4): The Eagles registered a 71-43 triumph over Doane Stuart and edged OESJ 59-55.

The Tanagers conclude their regular-season slate by taking on Lake George on Friday and Warrensbur­g on Monday.
