Can’t Turn Us Around: Alabama’s Foot Soldiers

Theo E.J. Wilson, a community activist and grandson of a Tuskegee Airman, hosts this hourlong documentary that goes beyond the more well-known leaders of the civil rights movement to look at a different side of the revolution composed of the “foot soldiers” outside the spotlight — the Black American citizens who put everything on the line to fight for their rights across crucial battleground cities in Alabama during the 1950s and ’60s.
