BOYS’ BASKETBALL RANKINGS
The Section II boys’ basketball tournaments have reached the quarterfinal stage in the six brackets. There is play in the Class CC and C tournaments being held Friday and Sunday at various locations.
There are four quarterfinal contests in Class D being conducted Saturday at Stillwater. Both the Class AA quarterfinals (Hudson Valley Community College) and Class A quarterfinals (Siena College) are set to be played Sunday.
CLASS AA
1. Ballston Spa (19-1, Last Week No. 1):
The Scotties begin their quest for a sectional title Sunday night when they face No. 8 Colonie at HVCC.
2. Bethlehem (15-5, LW No. 2): Cam Laclair grabbed a rebound and scored as time expired Wednesday to lift the Eagles to an exhilarating 48-46 victory in overtime over Niskayuna.
3. Saratoga Springs (16-5, LW No. 3): Andrew Stallmer finished with a game-high 26 points as the Blue Streaks rallied in the second half to produce a 64-47 win over Guilderland.
4. CBA (13-6, LW No. 4):
The Brothers are set to face No. 10 Mekeel Christian Academy on Sunday in quarterfinal play.
5. Green Tech (14-7, LW No. 5):
Haisi Mayben delivered 32 points, six rebounds and four assists to power the Eagles to an 83-70 triumph over La Salle.

CLASS A
1. Albany Academy (13-6, LW No. 1):
The Cadets will not return to action until Federation Tournament of Champions play begins next month.
2. Amsterdam (19-1, LW No. 2):
The Foothills Council champion, the No. 1 seed, begins its playoff journey Sunday at Siena College vs. No. 8 Columbia.
3. Hudson Falls (16-4, LW No. 3):
The Tigers return to the court Sunday at Siena College for a quarterfinal clash against No. 10 Averill Park.
4. Lansingburgh (16-4, LW
No. 4): The fourth-seeded Knights will face No. 5 Burnt Hills-ballston Lake on Sunday in the quarterfinals.
5. Troy (11-9, LW No. 5): The Flying Horses, seeded third, next meet sixth-seeded Gloversville in quarterfinal action Sunday.

CLASS B
1. CCHS (20-1, LW No. 1):
Sei’mir Robinson tallied 22 points and Darien Moore contributed 21 points as the topseeded Crusaders defeated Broadalbin-perth 93-48.
2. Tamarac (19-2, LW No. 2):
Joey Poulin scored 19 points and Jack Casey added 18 points, leading the Bengals to a 93-50 victory over Johnstown.
3. Glens Falls (16-5, LW No. 3): Kellen Driscoll and Cooper Nadler each delivered 21 points to pace the Indians in their 85-40 decision over Taconic Hills.
4. Fonda (18-3, LW No. 4):
The Braves put together a superlative defensive performance in posting a 50-16 win against Greenville in the first round.
5. Schalmont (12-9, LW No. 5):
The Sabres placed four players in doubles digits, led by 16 points apiece from Ryan Woodrow and Elijah Smith, in a 74-53 win against Hudson.
CLASS C
1. Duanesburg (20-0, LW No. 1):
The Eagles, ranked No. 2 in the state, return to action Friday at HVCC in Class C quarterfinal play against No. 8 Galway.
2. Hoosic Valley (17-3, LW No. 2):
The second-seeded Indians, ranked No. 7 in the state, face ten seed Schoharie on Sunday morning at HVCC.
3. Stillwater (16-4, LW No. 3): The Warriors, top-seeded in the Class CC bracket, take on eighth-seeded Lake George in the quarterfinals Friday at HVCC.
4. Chatham (16-4, LW No. 4):
The Panthers collide with Patroon Conference rival Maple Hill in Class CC quarterfinal play Friday at Shenendehowa.
5. Greenwich (13-7, LW No. 5):
The fifth-seeded Witches take on fourth-seeded Hoosick Falls on Friday in Class CC quarterfinal play at HVCC.

CLASS D
1. North Warren (15-5, LW No. 1):
The Cougars, ranked No. 13 in the state, begin tournament play Saturday in the quarterfinals against seven seed Hartford at Stillwater.
2. Northville (15-5, LW No. 2): The top-seeded Falcons open sectional play Saturday vs. No. 9 Fort Ann at Stillwater.
3. Argyle (12-8, LW No. 3):
The third-seeded Scots face sixth-seeded Germantown in quarterfinal action Saturday at Stillwater.
4. Loudonville Christian (8-8, LW No. 4):
The Eagles begin their sectional journey Saturday at Stillwater vs. No. 5 Hawthorne Valley.
5. Hawthorne Valley (8-8, LW No. 5):
The Wildcats are paced in scoring by Oliver Towe (21.3 points per game) and Henri Towe (16.4 points per game).
