— Patricia A. Paglia Berkley, 69, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023, at Samaritan Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Patricia was born in Troy, the daughter of the late Doris H. Defreest Paglia and Christy C. Paglia, and the loving wife of Robert M. “Mack” Berkley. Patricia and Robert were happily wed on March 21, 2006. She attended Troy Schools, Mildred Elly, and Hudson Valley Community College’s ýå! µ‹…±ƒ‹l‹q5 ·glo·ƒ± program.

Patricia worked for Samaritan Hospital as a registered dietician for many years; at Grand Union Supermarke­t, and Mcdonald’s, and ended her work career as a C.N.A. home health care aide in their Hospice division.

She enjoyed going to family reunions, making Facebook connection­s, parties, vacations, the Racino in Saratoga Springs, playing bingo, and most of all, loved her entire enormous family. One could ·l7·5… 䍳 p±† …p‹‰‰oq online, watching her crime shows or soap operas, or calling up loved ones to let them know they were appreciate­d.

Patricia was predecease­d by her loving mother, Doris H. Paglia; her father, Christy Paglia; her sister, Doris St. Jock Mayville; and her infant brother, Christophe­r Paglia. In addition to her husband, “Mack,” Patricia is survived by her children, Dana (Michael) Santiago, and stepson,

) go, pson, Robert Anthony (Amy) Berkley; her siblings, John (Leeann Sherman) Paglia and Karen (Guy Stoliker) Paglia; her nephews, Christophe­r (Dana) Paglia, Mason Paglia, and Ronald St. Jock Jr.; her niece, Randi Paglia; and her grandchild­ren, Gavin (Angela) Crobok, and Breanne (Jeremy) Crobok, who she adored with all her heart.

The family would like to thank Patricia’s neighbor Sue Morley and dear cousin Louise Gamble for all that they have done for Patricia. We would also like to thank the Samaritan Hospital nurses and her beloved Hospice nurses and doctors for all the compassion and care given to her.

A funeral service will be held on Monday at 12 p.m. in the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Ave. (at the corner of 11th Street in Lansingbur­gh), Troy. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. Interment will be held in the Elmwood Hill Cemetery, Troy.

Colvin, Lester E. HALFMOON

— Lester E. Colvin, age 89 of Halfmoon, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2023.

Born on April 9, 1933, in Schenectad­y, he was the son of the late Lester and Ella Robinson Colvin. He was predecease­d by his son, William Uber; his daughter, Debra Uber; and his granddaugh­ter, Brenda Mendez. He is survived by his wife, Katherine “Betty” Hatlee Colvin; his daughters, Sandra (Bill) Callahan, and Shari (Mark) Colvin-daignault; his sons, Daniel (Debbie) Uber, David (Nancy) Uber, Randy (Pati) Uber, and Mark and Michelle Frost; and his daughter-in-law, Vickie Uber. He is also survived by nine grandchild­ren, and 11 great-grandchild­ren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Les was a truck driver for all of his life and worked for the Teamsters Local 294 for 30 years. He enjoyed camping, traveling with his family, and his many years vacationin­g in Aruba. He also loved trips to the casino. Every morning he could be found amongst his friends at the Guideboard Road Stewart’s.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 27, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park.
