William Gerlach, president and CEO of the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce, has been named the 2023 Distinguished Citizen of the Year by the Columbia County Association in the City of New York. The association was founded in 1902 as a vehicle for county natives who had relocated to New York in search of careers to reconnect with one another and support charitable causes.

She wants to discuss federal incentives given in the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Formula Program, which hopes to fund up to 80 percent of costs for those looking to install chargers near major national highways.
