St. Rose women’s hoops comes to end
The College of Saint Rose women’s basketball program ended with a 52-47 loss to Daemen in the NCAA Division II Tournament’s first round on Friday in Waltham, Mass.
The Golden Knights held a slim 26-25 halftime advantage before the Wildcats outscored Saint Rose 12-7 to take control in the third. Kaelah Carter scored 16 points and Payton Graber added 14 for the Golden Knights, who finished their final season 21-7.
