Agostine, Sr., Michael F.

-

TROY — Michael F. Agostine, Sr., 62, died peacefully in his sleep, Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at his home.

Born in Troy, the grandson of predeceased Michael “Dusty” and Josephine Debonis, and the son of Anna Marie Debonis and the late Francis Agostine. He was a lifelong resident of Troy and a graduate of Troy City Schools.

Michael was a Teamster, a truck driver for Clemente Concrete for several years, but most recently he worked with Amante Inc. with Shawn Hughes and his many friends. The family wanted to give a special thank you to them for always being there when he needed them.

Michael was a musician, like his brother Marc, who loved playing the drums. Now they will be creating their own music for God and all his angels to hear.

He was an inventor at heart, always tinkering and trying to find the next great idea to make him rich.

Survivors in addition to his mother, Anna Marie, include his 3 children, Kristen Agostine, Danielle (Jason) Coonrad, and Michael Agostine, Jr.; his grandchildren, Madisyn, Hunter, Grayson, and Dakota. He was predeceased by his siblings, Marc Agostine, Kelly (Jeffrey) Prins, Rodney Ann (Mike) Agostine, and David (Eileen) Agostine. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc., 276 Pawling Ave., Troy, on Monday, March 18, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., with a service to follow at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Troy.
