SPORTS SPEAK UP!

-

IN RESPONSE to the gentleman that stated “money for Women’s sports would be best spent on academics”. Women’s collegiate players are mostly honor students looking for an education not Jocks looking to go pro. These female athletes generally raise GPA and become contributing professionals mostly. Best academic value spent; is on these FEMALE athletic programs .

MY WIFE gave me Arizona Diamondbacks ticket for my birthday today, so i have to be in phoenix in two weeks. My dilemma is I have gotten much darker this summer and I only have a drivers license. I called Mayor Marty Chaves for advise , they said he wasn’t Mayor, I thought he was always Mayor??...So, I am posting them on craigslist for cheap.

DREW GORDON, all-MWC Center, who played a major role in the lobos winning a share of the MWC title, MWC tournament championship, lost to a final 4 team in Louisville by only (3) points in the NCAA tournament, & proved to be the #1 player in the MWC and one of the best collegiate basketball players out West. Our own local sports media have repeatedly stated that UNLV & San Diego State are the NATIONAL POWERS of the WORLD & our own Drew Gordon also put both of these (2) teams to shame. Drew Gordon goes undrafted by the NBA is very disappointing, but it is not the end of the world, I strongly believe he still has a chance. GOOD LUCK DREW !

SO GORDON wasn’t drafted. So many times Journal mentions Lobo fb and bb players expected to go in certain round and they either aren’t drafted or go much lower than expected. Perhaps some inflated expectations regarding these players. However Drew can overcame this and win a spot on NBA roster.
