Parents and staff should not make plans that cannot be changed on weather makeup days, in-service days (teacher training days) and during the state testing period.

AUGUST

15 -First day of school for middle and high school students 20 -First day of school all elementary students 31 - No school, teacher in service day

SEPTEMBER

3 - No school and district office closed, Labor Day holiday.

OCTOBER

12 - No school, teacher in service day 25 - No school for elementary students, parent-teacher conferences. Middle and high schools

still in session. 26 - No school for all students, parent-teacher conferences

NOVEMBER

6 - No school, Election Day 21 to 23 - No school and district office closed, Thanksgiving holiday.

DECEMBER

24 - Winter break begins; no school and district office closed.

JANUARY

8 - Students return to school from winter break. 21 - No school, Martin Luther King Jr. holiday

FEBRUARY

14 - No school for elementary students, parent-teacher conferences. Middle and high school still in session. 15 - No school for all students, parent-teacher conferences 18 - No school, President’s Day holiday. Possible weather makeup day

MARCH

18 - State achievement testing window through April 5

29 - No school, holiday

APRIL

8 to 12 - No school and district office closed, spring break.

MAY

24 - Last day of school May 28, 29, 30 - Possible weather makeup days
