g Crucita married Flaviano Perea Garcia in July of that same year. In 1947, Crucita and Flaviano moved into their home in the near north valley where they lived the rest of their lives. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Flaviano, in July of 2010; and two of her brothers: Victor and Joseph. Her sister, Carmelita Salazar, and brothers: Andrew and Louis still reside in Albuquerqu­e. Flaviano and Crucita also had six children-F. Chris, A.Thomas, Robert D., Martin J., and Susan M., residing in Albuquerqu­e, and Greg L., who lives in Houston. Also among her descendant­s are six grandchild­ren and seven great-grandchild­ren. Crucita was always involved in her children’s education and religion. Her baked goods were always the first to go in fund-raising activities. She and Flaviano were founding members of St. Therese parish and continued their membership­s for over fifty years. She was a woman of wisdom, kindness, intelligen­ce, and much strength and also tenderhear­ted and compassion­ate. She was an avid reader and was very knowledgea­ble and insightful on everything from world affairs to human nature. Music, dancing and old movies were also some of her favorite pleasures. Crucita was very sociable; she greatly enjoyed conversing with people and was especially delighted with and loved children. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her and will live in our hearts and memories forever. Crucita’s Life Celebratio­n will begin with a Visitation on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. in the Reflection of Life® Chapel (Washington & Cutler NE) followed by a Rosary, also at Reflection­s, at 6:30p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 9:00a.m. at St. Therese Shrine of the Little Flower Catholic Church followed by a Burial at Mt. 884-5777 age a lifelong resident of Albuquerqu­e, went to be with her mother Bertha Arvizo on Friday November 30, 2012. She fell peacefully asleep at the UNMH after a sudden illness. Suzy was born in Albuquerqu­e on October 11, 1967 to Bertha and Manuel Arvizo, She graduated from Valley High School in 1985 with Honors. She went on to graduate from PIMA Medical Institute in 2006 as her class Valedictor­ian following her graduation from PIMA she worked as a Physician’s Assistant. She also found time to work with people with disabiliti­es at ARCA and Goodwill. She was preceded in death by her mother Bertha Arvizo. She is survived by her father Manuel Arvizo; her first born Joshua Arvizo and wife Janell; Daughter Sabrina Gurule, Sons Dominic Arvizo and Sebastian Lobley. One Grandson Andres Emiliano Arvizo, Her Sisters, Liz Romero, Annette Griffin, Debbie Arvizo, Elvira DeLaO, Frances Horner, Alberta Arvizo, Yolanda Marquez and Alice Chavez. Her Brothers; Larry Arvizo, Steve Arvizo, Daniel DeLaO, Paul Arvizo, Ronnie Arvizo and Sonny Arvizo. Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Memorial service in her honor will be held at 2:00 pm Friday December 7, 2012 at Salazar and Sons Mortuary.
