VALDEZ, ELIZAIDA C.

Age 84, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully at her home, Sunday, December 2, 2012. She was born in La Jara, NM and was a resident of Bernalillo, NM, where she was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arturo Valdez; and a son, Fred Saiz. Elizaida is survived by her loving children, Theresa Saiz and Companion Daniel, Johnny Valdez and wife Terri, Dolores Valdez and Barbara Valdez and husband Juan; Eight grandchildren, Pam, Debbie, Fred, Annette, Robbie Ann and husband Maurice, Gabriel, Johnny Jr., and Anne Marie; 17 great-grandchildren, including special grandson Isaiah; one brother, Nestor Chavez; ex-daughter-in-law, Rita Valdez; numerous, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and her special four legged loyal companion, "Baby" her puppy. Elizaida will be greatly missed by all. A Rosary will be recited Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at Our

, Lady of Sorrows Church in Bernalillo, NM, where the Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery.
