Prescribed Burn On Borrego Mesa

A prescribed burn in scheduled to begin Monday on Borrego Mesa to consume hazardous fuels, leaving light, residual smoke for a few days.

The affected 110 acres, to be treated over a four-day period, are located about two miles east of Cordova and three miles south of Truchas.

Smoke may settle into lower elevations and drainage areas, but is expected to lift by midmorning
