Business Women names best bosses

The Santa Fe Professional Business Women recently announced the 2013 Employers of the Year.

The criteria in choosing the winners included a track record of familyfriendly policies, including financial assistance for employees’ training and education courses, health care coverage, flexible work arrangements, and females in mid- and upper-level management positions.

Named as Small Employers of the Year are Air Conditioning & Heating Service Co. (for profit) and Santa Fe Recovery Center (nonprofit); the Large Employers of the Year (50 or more employees) are First National Bank of Santa Fe (for profit) and La Familia Medical Center (nonprofit).

Nominees included Bank of Albuquerque, Century Bank, First Citizens Bank, United Blood Services and Wells Fargo Bank.
