Break-up blues?

Kraft Foods and Mondelez split into separate companies last fall so each could focus on its own stable of products.

Mondelez took snack brands such as Oreo cookies and Cadbury chocolates, while Kraft kept grocery brands like Oscar Mayer and Jell-O. Mondelez’s sales have failed to meet Wall Street expectatio­ns since going on its own. Kraft’s latest quarterly results, due out today, should give investors a sense of whether the company is faring any better.
