Free Fridays at O’Keeffe Museum

The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum announced it is extending its free admission for New Mexico residents on the first Friday of every month to include the guests of state residents.

The next “Free First Friday” is this week, on May 3.

“‘Free First Fridays’ is a wonderful opportunit­y to explore the museum and our latest exhibition, Annie Leibovitz: Pilgrimage, for free,” Robert A. Kret, Georgia O’Keeffe Museum director, said in a news release. “The museum is pleased to extend the offer to the guests of New Mexico residents on the first Friday in May, and on all future first Fridays.”

Under the new policy, there will be free admission for up to 10 guests of each resident.

The museum’s regular hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; on Fridays, the museum is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
