Celebration for Los Piños Bridge

A community celebration and ribbon-cutting will be held Saturday to celebrate the completion and renovations of Los Piños Bridge at Ashbaugh Park.

The ribbon-cutting, with local officials on hand, is scheduled for 4 p.m.

The celebration itself will run from 3:30 to 5 p.m., with music provided by the ATC Marimba Band. Free refreshments will be provided, including ice cream from Baskin-Robbins, mango-ginger lemonade from Jambo Café and pastries from Revolutionary Bakery.

The Santa Fe Disc Golf group will hold demonstrations and free classes, and the City Parks Division will hold a treeplanting ceremony.

The public can enter the park at San Jose and Otowi Road, Velarde Street off of Agua Fria, or off of Cerrillos Road at Fire Station No. 3.
