Intensive Outpatient Program
We operate both Adolescent and Adult IOPs, created to help those in need of more intensive treatment and support than individual outpatient therapy alone can provide. These programs serve as adjunct programs to individual and family therapy, and focus on treating the client’s eating disorder issues while helping clients and families navigate the waters of recovery through family counseling and support, nutritional education, experiential and somatic therapy, therapeutic meals, and personal skill building. The Adult program is more focused on the issues affecting adults with ED, and like the Adolescent program, teaches many skills to replace Eating Disordered behaviors with healthy behaviors. The IOP is a covered benefit by many of the major insurance providers. Please check with your insurance provider to verify your coverage benefits.
