THE LIGHTER SIDE

- ARGUS HAMILTON

Happy Sunday, everybody, and God bless America.

Adolf Hitler’s watercolor of a Bavarian city hall that he painted when he was 25 years old will be auctioned in Germany this weekend. The sellers hope to fetch $60,000 for it. The auction house catalogue touts the Hitler painting as the perfect wedding gift for Charles Manson.

Charles Manson’s wedding license arrived at a California prison Thursday, permitting his upcoming wedding to take place in the prison chapel. A 26-yearold old Los Angeles girl has agreed to marry the 80-year-old serial killer. The wedding photographs will appear exclusively in Psychology Today.

President Obama announced unilateral executive action Thursday, designed to deal with illegal immigration. His order, which focused on deporting violent criminals, drew immediate outrage. When Barack Obama vowed he was going to change America, no one thought it meant he would gut the NFL.

President Obama repeated Thursday that every American is the descendant of an immigrant. It always gets a laugh on the reservation. Indians love it when Obama implies that the Anglo-Saxons arrived in America as immigrants just looking for a better way of life and doesn’t mention the muskets.
