Raptors roar from behind to rip the reeling Cavaliers

CLEVELAND — Lou Williams scored a career-high 36 points and the Toronto Raptors rallied from a big early deficit to beat Cleveland 110-93 on Saturday night, handing LeBron James and the Cavaliers their fourth straight loss.

The Raptors, who have won four in a row and are off to their best start in franchise history, trailed 26-8 less than 4 minutes into the game before showing why they have the best record in the Eastern Conference.

Toronto led 56-54 at halftime and took control midway through the third quarter. The Raptors were up by as many as 19 points in the fourth.

Kevin Love scored 23 points and Kyrie Irving had 21 to lead Cleveland, which dropped to 5-7. James, who spent the final 6:20 on the bench, finished with 15 points and 10 assists.

SUNS 106, PACERS 83: In Indianapol­is, Gerald Green led all scorers with 23 points as Phoenix remained one of the hottest teams in the NBA after its road win over Indiana.

Phoenix got its fourth straight win — all on the road during a six-game trip — and the Pacers saw their two-game win streak end.

Markieff Morris added 13 for Phoenix and Goran Dragic had 11. Isaiah Thomas pitched in with 16 points off the bench for the Suns.

KNICKS 91, 76ERS 83: In New York, Carmelo Anthony scored 25 points, Amare Stoudemire added 16 points and 11 rebounds, and the Knicks dropped Philadelph­ia to 0-13.

HEAT 99, MAGIC 92: In Orlando, Chris Bosh scored 14 of his 32 points in the fourth quarter, and Miami beat its intrastate rival for the 10th straight time.

WIZARDS 111, BUCKS 100: In Milwaukee, Paul Pierce scored 25 points and John Wall added 19 as Washington rallied in the second half to beat Milwaukee. The Wizards, after trailing by as many as 15 points in the first half, took control of the game by outscoring the Bucks 19-8 to start the fourth quarter.

ROCKETS 95, MAVERICKS 92: In Houston, James Harden scored 32 points, including five down the stretch, to help the Rockets rally against Dallas. Houston, playing without Dwight Howard (knee injury), ended its twogame skid and snapped the Mavericks’ sixgame winning streak.

KINGS 113, TIMBERWOLV­ES 101: In Minneapoli­s, DeMarcus Cousins had 31 points and 18 rebounds to power Sacramento over the shorthande­d Minnesota Timberwolv­es.

PELICANS 106, JAZZ 94: In Salt Lake City, Anthony Davis had a career-high 43 points and 14 rebounds, Jrue Holiday added 19 points and eight assists and New Orleans beat Utah.

SPURS 99, NETS 87: In San Antonio, Texas, Tony Parker had 22 points and Tim Duncan nearly had a triple double in limited minutes as the Spurs beat Brooklyn.
