WORKER is a house of hospitality for homeless folk, based on the tradition of the Catholic Worker movement founded by Dorothy Day and Peter Maurin, will present a one-woman dramatic presentation “Conversations with Dorothy Day.” Performed by Sharon Halsey-Hoover, the presentation depicts Dorothy stopping by to share a cup of coffee with friends while talking about her life. This is a fundraiser to fix the roof of the shelter, with a $10 suggested donation. It will be 7-8:30 p.m. Saturday with a reception to follow at First Congregational UCC, 2801 Lomas NE.
