PROMOTIONS
LESLIE L. SMALL has been promoted by Bohannan Huston Inc. (BHI) to chief operations officer (COO). Small has worked for the company for 29 years and formerly was the senior vice president of the advanced technologies group. She has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from UNM and is a graduate of the Leadership Albuquerque class of 2008.
Broderick Phillippi Wright & Card LLC has promoted two staff members. They are: Marvin Kiesow, CPA, CCIFP, principal. Kiesow has 17 years’ experience in the accounting field, and focuses on providing audit, review and general accounting services to privately held businesses. He is a member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and a Certified Construction Industry Professional (CCIFP).
Nick Hoffman, CPA, manager. Hoffman joined the firm in 2006 and focuses on tax services for privately held businesses and individuals. He previously worked as executive director of a small nonprofit organization. Hoffman has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Adams State College, and a master’s degree in policy and planning from the University of New Mexico.
Lara Katz has been promoted by Montgomery & Andrews PA to shareholder. Katz’s practice focuses in the areas of water, environmental, natural resources, appellate, labor and employment, and complex litigation. She previously clerked for two years for the Honorable Richard C. Bosson of the New Mexico Supreme Court. Katz has a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in cultural anthropology and a law degree, magna cum laude, from UNM.
