Tribe asks court to reconsider
SANTA FE — The Fort Sill Apaches have asked the New Mexico Supreme Court to reconsider its recent decision about whether Gov. Susana Martinez should have to sign a gambling agreement with the tribe.
The court issued a brief order last month denying a request the Fort Sill Apaches had filed. In that request, the tribe’s chairman had asked the court to order the governor to sign a gambling compact with the tribe.
