Gas prices down 11 cents
CAMARILLO, Calif. — The average price of gasoline has dropped 11 cents over the past two weeks to $2.71 a gallon.
Industry analyst Trilby Lundberg said Sunday that the current average sits 81 cents below the year-ago price.
The cheapest price recorded in the continental United States was $2.19 a gallon in Charleston, S.C.
The highest was $3.80 a gallon in Los Angeles. The national average price of diesel was down 8 cents over the same period to $2.78 a gallon.
