MEMO TO MY

one million or so Sportsspeakup fans: Relax. I was (mostly) kidding last week with my comments! Seriously. I’m not that mean and am all in for the student athletes. I suddenly realized that yours truly is almost as popular in Albuquerque as Tom Brady and the great Steve Alford. And should the Sartans of St. Pius happen to go undefeated this season, it won’t be because of the team sipping lattes, eating yogurt and doing their yoga thing. It will be because of LA’s Finest (that happens to be me) giving their coaching staff plenty of great bulletin board material. In the meantime, Melora Lager and I are now going steady.
