REDW sponsors tech conference

REDW is sponsoring a technology conference at its Albuquerqu­e headquarte­rs in October with an emphasis on cybersecur­ity.

“Organizing this conference is part of REDW’s longstandi­ng commitment to help business leaders prepare for any issues they may face,” said Marcus Clarke, IT director and principal of REDW. “Cybersecur­ity is a very hot topic that business leaders are now facing, therefore we wanted to provide this opportunit­y to not only our clients, but the general business community as the more we learn from each other the more protected we all will become.”

Featured speakers are Srinivas Mukkamala, cofounder and CEO of RiskSense Inc., Alice Kilborn, founder of Kilborn Consulting, and Peter Ambs, CIO City of Albuquerqu­e.

Panelists will include members of the REDW Risk Management and Operations team, who will answer questions and share their best practices in cybersecur­ity.

Eleven CPE credits are available. Participan­ts will learn key trends in cyber- security, social engineerin­g tactics, social media pitfalls and reputation hazards.

The conference will be Oct. 13-14 at REDW headquarte­rs, 7425 Jefferson NE.

Fees for the conference are $325 for the first day alone or $575 for both days. Current REDW clients will receive a $50 discount.

Day 1 includes continenta­l breakfast and lunch; the twoday package includes dinner/ drinks, continenta­l breakfasts and lunches.
