Martin Pena, age 77, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother went into the loving arms of the Lord as he was surrounded by family on Saturday, January 30, 2016.

Martin was a successful business man and owner of Martin Pena’s Barber Shop in the Barelas community. His love for music inspired him to promote and play in several bands in the 60’s. His second love and pride and joy were his Low Rider trucks and car shows.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emeterio and Clarinda Pena; son Martin Pena Jr.; two brothers and one sister.

Martin is survived by his wife, Isabell Pena; daughter Stephanie Johns and husband, Bobby; son Marty Pena and wife, Lesleigh; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother, Emitero Pena and wife, Mary Ann; one sister, Mary Pena Noskin and husband, Skip; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 8, 2016, 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Garcia Mortuary ~ Chapel of Angels off of 8th and Iron, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, 9:30 am, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church , 309 Stover Ave SW. Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Reception will be held at Prestige Event Center, 2019 5th St. NW immediately following the interment. Pallbearers will be, Michael Pena, Anthony Fisher, Brandon Fisher, Raul Gallegos, Salvador Martinez and Estanslado Chavez.
