WASHINGTON — Paul George scored 38 points, including two free throws with 3 seconds left to lift the Indiana Pacers to a 100-99 victory over the Washington Wizards on Saturday night.

John Wall missed a jumper at the buzzer for the Wizards.

George, coming off a 35-point effort on Friday night, shot 13 of 22 from the field and converted all eight of his free throws.

LAKERS: Los Angeles rookie Anthony Brown will be out for at least four weeks with a stress reaction in his right foot after an MRI exam Saturday.

Kobe Bryant might sit out today’s game against Golden State with a sore right shoulder.

THUNDER: Oklahoma City signed free-agent center Nazr Mohammed, 38.

PACERS: Indiana put forward Chase Budinger on waivers, a move that could clear the way for the Pacers to add point guard Ty Lawson.
