Author to discuss care of loved ones with Alzheimer’s

AT PAGE ONE: Local author Patricia J. Conoway will discuss her book “Listening With My Eyes” at 3 today. Conoway has created a guide to help caregivers connect with their loved ones suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

Author Mark Cosman will discuss his most recent release, “Descent of the Gods,” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 10.

Cosman’s writing began when his daughter, Berlyn, was murdered following her high school prom. His odyssey in search of answers to the most profound questions we ask ourselves brought Mark to also write “Descent of the Gods” and “The Kids from the River,” fiction novels dramatizin­g the hidden dimensions of our most indelible experience­s.
