15 local bands playing Civic Plaza

Fill your afternoon with music as the annual Local Band Showcase takes place today at Civic Plaza in Downtown. Fifteen groups will preform a variety of music during the free, family-friendly event, which runs from noon to 7:30 p.m. There will be local food trucks, beer and wine.
