“Fallen Guardian Angels,” a play which deals with the AIDS pandemic at its infancy is seeking to fill seven roles: Stage Manager, a male or female of any age; Aaron, a 29-35 father who has lost his wife to AIDS; Helen, a 45-55 mother with a gay son; Robert, a 29-39 openly gay male; Marion, a 29-39 lesbian in denial; Robin, a 21-30 female; Jared, a 29-39 closeted gay man who tested positive for AIDS. “The Curious Savage,” in this play by John Patrick, Ethel Savage has been committed to “The Cloisters,” a private mental hospital, by her step-children who feel she is squandering the $10 million left to her by their late father. While her step-children plot to get the money, Ethel comes to know her fellow patients and their lovable quirks, as well as the kind-hearted Dr. Emmett and the ever nurturing nurse, Miss Willie. There are 11 roles for The Family, The Patients and The Staff: Six females (20s-70s) and five males (20s-60s). Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. All parts are available.
