Paying $4 million to Iranians was wrong

I AM SHOCKED that my country has paid $4 million to the country of Iran! (It does not matter if it was a ransom or not.)

This is a country that hates us more than any other country!

I have been wondering how much we give to them yearly and to many other countries. This fact is kept secret from us taxpayers. The USA should not be giving money to other countries when we owe a huge debt to China. It just does not make sense to do this! EVELYN JUSTICE Albuquerque
